Pricing and Availability
What is the starting price of a 2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer in Pennsylvania?
The LS with front-wheel drive opens at $23,300 before a $1,795 destination freight charge, which brings the lowest advertised figure to $25,095 before tax, title, license and options. Pennsylvania tax and fees are added on top of that.
How much is a top-of-the-range Trailblazer?
The most expensive way to configure one is an RS or ACTIV with all-wheel drive at $29,500 before destination. On top of that sit the $1,795 destination charge and any options, the most common being the $1,495 Convenience Package and the $395 Driver Confidence Package. We will price an exact build for you rather than have you add it up.
What is the destination freight charge on a 2026 Trailblazer?
$1,795. It is set by the manufacturer, applies to every 2026 Trailblazer regardless of trim, and is not a dealer fee. It is excluded from the MSRP figures quoted throughout this site.
Is it better to lease or finance a Trailblazer?
It depends on your annual mileage and how long you keep a vehicle. Leasing suits predictable, moderate mileage and a shorter cycle; financing suits higher mileage and longer ownership, and leaves you with an asset. We can run both side by side on the same vehicle. Start with a pre-approval or ask about the lease centre.
Engines and Performance
How much horsepower does a 2026 Trailblazer have?
Either 137 horsepower or 155, depending on the engine. The standard 1.2L turbo three-cylinder produces 137 hp at 5,000 rpm with 162 lb-ft of torque at 2,500 rpm. The available 1.3L turbo produces 155 hp with 174 lb-ft.
How quick is a Chevy Trailblazer?
An independently instrumented test of the 1.3L with all-wheel drive recorded about 9.4 seconds from rest to 60 mph. That is ordinary for a subcompact SUV, and the more useful figure in daily driving is the 174 lb-ft of torque, which arrives low enough to make a loaded merge unremarkable.
Is the Trailblazer turbocharged?
Both engines are turbocharged three-cylinders. There is no naturally aspirated option and no four-cylinder in the 2026 lineup.
Does the Trailblazer have a CVT?
Front-wheel-drive models use a continuously variable automatic. All-wheel-drive models use a conventional 9-speed automatic instead, so if you would rather have a geared automatic, ordering all-wheel drive is how you get one.
Can a Trailblazer run on E85?
The 1.2L engine is flex-fuel and runs on regular unleaded or E85. EPA rates it 30 mpg city and 31 highway on unleaded, and 21 city and 23 highway on E85, so E85 only makes sense when the price difference more than covers the drop in economy.
How much weight can a Trailblazer pull?
The rating is 1,000 pounds on front- or all-wheel drive with the $1,025 trailering package properly equipped. That covers a small single-axle utility trailer or a light load of garden waste; heavier towing is a job for a larger vehicle.
Features and Technology
Does the Trailblazer have a heated steering wheel?
The RS includes a heated, wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel as standard. On the LT, a Cold Weather Package is offered at $595; ask us exactly what a specific build on the lot includes and we will read it off that vehicle's own sticker.
Is a Bose sound system available on the Trailblazer?
Yes, a Bose audio system is available. Six speakers are standard on every trim, so the Bose system is an upgrade rather than a fix for a thin standard setup.
Can you get wireless phone charging in a Trailblazer?
Wireless charging is available as an option. Do not confuse it with the phone projection, which is a different thing and already standard: the screen mirrors your phone without a cable on every trim, so the charging pad only decides how the battery is topped up.
How many speakers does a Trailblazer have?
Six as standard, on every trim including the LS, with an available Bose system for buyers who want more.
Trim Differences
What does the ACTIV trim add to a Trailblazer?
Off-road suspension tuning, a functional skid plate, a dual-outlet exhaust with trapezoidal polished tips, a black mesh grille with Titanium chrome accents, and the 1.3L turbo engine as standard rather than an option. It starts at $27,900 before destination.
What makes the Trailblazer RS different?
It is the styling-led trim: 19-inch high-gloss-black machined-aluminum wheels, a heated wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, RS badging, red interior accents and a high-gloss-black mesh grille, with the 1.3L engine standard. It costs the same $27,900 as the ACTIV.
Is the base LS Trailblazer worth buying?
For a lot of buyers, yes. The LS includes the same 11-inch touchscreen, the same wireless phone projection, the same six-feature driver-aid suite and the same HD rear vision camera as the most expensive trim, on 17-inch aluminum wheels. What it does without is convenience equipment: keyless open and start, a remote starter and roof rails, which is what the $1,200 step to the LT buys.
Which Trailblazer trims come with black wheels?
The LT and ACTIV wear 17-inch high-gloss-black machined-aluminum wheels and the RS wears 19-inch versions of the same finish. The LS uses 17-inch silver-painted aluminum. An 18-inch high-gloss-black machined wheel is a $495 option.
Service and Ownership
Is roadside assistance included with a new Trailblazer?
Yes. Roadside assistance and courtesy transportation are included for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, covering things like emergency towing to the nearest dealer, a flat-tire change, a battery jump start and a vehicle unlock.
Have there been any recalls on the 2026 Trailblazer?
There are no recalls on record for the 2026 model year. Because recall status attaches to an individual vehicle rather than to a model year, check any specific car by its VIN at nhtsa.gov, and we will run that check on any vehicle you are considering here.
Does a Trailblazer need premium fuel?
No. It runs on regular unleaded, and the 1.2L engine additionally accepts E85. Both engines are turbocharged, which sometimes leads buyers to assume premium is required, and here it is not.
What is Connected Access and how long does it last?
Connected Access is the standard connectivity package on a new Chevrolet and it runs for 10 years. It supports services such as vehicle diagnostics reports and the myChevrolet mobile app. A Wi-Fi hotspot is available through it, with a data plan purchased separately.
How long is the bumper-to-bumper warranty on a Trailblazer?
3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, and the original tires are covered too, prorated after 12,000 miles. Powertrain coverage runs longer at 5 years or 60,000 miles.
Buying a Trailblazer at Outten Chevrolet
Can I book a Trailblazer test drive at Outten Chevrolet?
Yes, and it is worth doing back to back with a second trim if you are undecided. Book a test drive online or call (610) 674-0598. Tell us which trims you want to compare and we will have both ready.
How do I arrange financing before I come in?
Use our pre-approval form. It takes a few minutes, tells you what you can borrow and at what rate, and means the paperwork at the store is short rather than the whole visit.
What is my current car worth against a Trailblazer?
Get a figure before you visit with our trade-in valuation tool, which uses Carfax history data. Bring the vehicle in and we will confirm it in person, and the trade value comes off the price of the Trailblazer.
Do you keep all-wheel-drive Trailblazers in stock for winter?
All-wheel-drive stock is worth checking early, because it is the configuration Pennsylvania buyers want from about October onward and it moves quickly. Check current Trailblazer inventory, or call and we will tell you what is on the ground and what is inbound.
How can I see which Trailblazer trims are on the lot today?
Our inventory pages filter by trim, so you can look at just the LT, just the ACTIV, or the whole Trailblazer range. Stock changes daily, so the page is the live answer.
Can you order a Trailblazer in a colour you do not have?
Seven exterior colours are offered for 2026, and if the combination you want is not on the lot we can either locate one or place a factory order. Call us and we will tell you honestly which route is quicker for that particular build.
Where is Outten Chevrolet of Hamburg?
At 1080 S Fourth St, Hamburg, PA 19526, one exit off the interstate and a straight run up Route 61 from the Greater Reading area. Sales is (610) 674-0598; service is (610) 674-1192.
Can I have my Trailblazer serviced here if I bought it elsewhere?
Yes. Our service department works on any Chevrolet regardless of where it was purchased, with factory-trained technicians and genuine GM parts, and warranty work is handled here too. Schedule service whenever suits.
Do you sell to buyers from outside the immediate area?
Regularly. Customers come to us from across Berks County and from the Schuylkill valley — Schuylkill Haven, Lebanon and Bally among them — and the drive is straightforward from most of the region. Call ahead and we will have the vehicle you want ready when you arrive rather than have you wait.
Salt season here runs from December into March and the climbs onto Blue Mountain are steep enough to reward the stronger engine, which is why all-wheel drive and the 1.3L come up in almost every conversation we have about this vehicle. If your question is not above, ask it in person.
