About the 2027 Chevrolet Traverse
The 2027 Traverse is Chevrolet's midsize three-row SUV, sold in four trims from $40,800 to $56,100 before destination: LT, the off-road-equipped Z71, the street-styled RS and the comfort-first High Country. Every one of them runs the same 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder making 328 horsepower through an 8-speed automatic, so the choice is about drivetrain and equipment rather than power. The 17.7-inch Google-powered display is fitted to every trim, and families around Reading, Schuylkill Haven and Pottsville get 97.6 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume and seating for up to eight.
Two things changed for 2027. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance became standard equipment on the RS, with a three-year OnStar plan, and the High Country moved to the top of the price ladder above the RS, reversing last year's order. The Z71 remains the only all-wheel-drive-only trim, with 7.8 inches of ground clearance and all-terrain tires, which is the one to look at if your road out toward Bally or up Route 61 is the last to be plowed.
We are on South Fourth Street in Hamburg, just off Interstate 78 near Cabela's. Start with the overview if you are new to the Traverse. Go straight to trims if you already know you want one and are choosing between LT, Z71, RS and High Country. Use specs if you are checking whether it fits your garage or your trailer, service if you are working out what it costs to keep, and the FAQ if you have one specific question. If you are weighing the Traverse against the smaller Equinox, that comparison is here. Researching the outgoing model year instead? The 2026 Traverse page is still here.
