Chevrolet does not publish off-road approach and departure angles for the Trax, which is a front-wheel-drive urban SUV rather than a trail vehicle. The 7.3-inch ground clearance is ample for curbs, driveways, and unplowed parking lots but is not an off-road figure.

Because there is only one front-wheel-drive configuration, these EPA estimates apply to all five trims; there is no thirstier all-wheel-drive version to account for.
