The 2026 Chevrolet Trax is Chevy's entry subcompact SUV and one of the most affordable new vehicles on the market, starting at $21,700 for the LS and topping out at $25,400 for the 2RS and ACTIV before destination (roughly $23,495 to $27,195 delivered). All five trims, LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and ACTIV, share one powertrain: a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder making 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, rated 28/32/30 mpg. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and the Chevy Safety Assist driver-aid suite make it an easy daily driver for the eastern-PA commute from Hamburg to Reading.
For 2026 the Trax carries over the styling from its 2024 redesign, swapping in new White Sands and Apex Red paint, with a modest price step-up and a $1,795 destination charge.
